CALA VIOLINA, THE SOUNDING SAND
One of the most beautiful beaches in the Maremma, certainly the most famous, Cala Violina and its sounding sand, perfectly equidistant from Follonica and Punta Ala, is located within the
Bandite di Scarlino Nature Reserve:
it is a cove with pure white sand and clear, pristine water.
Located between the two promontories of Punta Martina to the north, which separates it from the neighboring Cala Martina, and Punta Le Canne to the south.
The beach can only be reached on foot, by bike, or by sea.
The difficult access has likely helped this charming beach in our Maremma remain wild and unspoiled. From a landscape perspective, it is a true gem, with a rare quality.
